Patent-pending hardware lockout

No inspection,
no ignition.

CoreQ turns the pre-trip inspection into a physical gate. Hardware ties into the J1939 / OBD-II bus, so a unit doesn't start until it's safe, compliant, and insured — verified in real time. Everything downstream, from the repair order to the invoice, runs on the same system.

The platform

Three things legacy shop
software can't do.

Built to replace the spreadsheets and decade-old desktop tools running today's fleets — web-native, on every device, in the yard and in the office.

Enforcement01

Hardware lockout

A physical interlock wired to the engine bus. Pass the inspection and the unit clears to drive; fail it and the unit stays put. Compliance you can't tap past.

Coverage02

Real-time insurance

Auto Liability, APD, Inland Marine, Contractors Equipment, Transit and Motor Truck Cargo — every line verified live before a unit rolls, not at audit time.

Intelligence03

AI fleet intelligence

Risk scoring on every asset, predictive maintenance from real J1939 telemetry, and deficiency trends that flag which units are about to cost you.

The shop floor

Everything past the
ignition gate.

CoreQ doesn't stop at the lockout. It's the system of record for the whole visit — from the first QR scan to the final invoice — so nothing gets re-keyed between the yard, the shop, and the office.

InspectionM1

Templates & DVIR

Sub-categorized checklists built from a shared query library. Clone or edit templates in place, and capture photos, video, and measurements on any item.

ExecutionM2

QR-scan execution

Technicians scan the asset, sign in, and move Pass / Fail / N/A with auto-advance. Critical failures require a logged, acknowledged supervisor override.

WorkflowM3

RO & PO workflow

One repair order per visit, unlimited purchase orders linked beneath it. Customers approve or decline each line item — parts and labor — not all-or-nothing.

VisibilityM4

WIP dashboard

A live grid of every unit in the shop — filter by technician, status, RO type, or location, with date-promised tracking for SLA and aging.

AccountsM5

Customer & asset hierarchy

Corporate accounts roll up branch locations and AR. Every asset carries its full service history, so repeat visits skip re-intake entirely.

FinanceM6

Accounting, connected

A full chart of accounts and general ledger built into the same system — no export, no reconciliation between the shop floor and the books.

How it works

From key-on to cleared.

STEP 01

Key turns

Driver attempts ignition. The CoreQ gateway holds the start until the pre-trip is complete.

STEP 02

Scan & inspect

Technician scans the asset's QR code and works a guided checklist, with photo capture and J1939 fault reads pulled automatically.

STEP 03

Verify

Inspection result and live insurance status check together — both must pass, or a logged override, to release the lock.

STEP 04

Cleared

Unit releases, the record logs to the platform, and the office sees it — and the RO it feeds — the moment it happens.

Built different

Not another spreadsheet
with a login screen.

Most shop software was built for a desktop a decade ago. CoreQ was built for what a fleet actually needs today.

Legacy shop toolsBefore
  • Paper or PDF pre-trip checklists — easy to skip, easy to fake
  • Insurance verified manually, usually after the unit already rolled
  • PO created first, with only a manual reference back to the job
  • One fixed grid — no live filters, no toggleable columns
  • Customer history scattered across paper files and prior systems
  • Books reconciled separately from the shop, monthly, by hand
CoreQNow
  • Hardware-enforced pre-trip — physically blocks ignition on a fail
  • Insurance verified live, before the unit is cleared to drive
  • RO created first, with every PO linked and traceable beneath it
  • Live WIP grid — filter by tech, status, RO type, or location
  • One profile per customer, full asset and account hierarchy
  • Chart of accounts and GL built into the same connected system

Built for the whole operation

One platform, five seats.

Everyone who touches the fleet works from the same source of truth — from the cab to the controller's desk.
